This blog is a kind of spiritual successor to a blog called 'Keeping Time' that was launched in the early 2000s, back in the Geocities days. That blog focused on the history of Vancouver, BC, whereas this one uses a considerably wider lens. The name of this blog is also inspired by the title of the second album by the Amsterdam anarcho-punk band The Ex.
